George Michael is scheduled to sing Don McLean's 'The Grave' on Top of the Pops on BBC1 this Friday, 7th March at 7.30pm.

BBC America usually broadcasts Top of the Pops a week after the UK edition goes out.

George Michael has announced that he will record a cover of Don McLean's 'The Grave'. The Grave featured on the American Pie album and Michael is using it to convey his own anti-war message. It is being recorded for MTV UK & Ireland but there are strong rumours that it will also be released as a single.

Questions were composed by Ron Buck, an accomplished guitarist who promoted one of the first Tommy Emmanuel concerts in the UK. The interview was conducted by phone in January 2003 by Alan Howard (site producer/Don's biographer).
